Nehemia 5:8

SV	En ik zeide tot hen: Wij hebben onze broederen, de Joden, die aan de heidenen verkocht waren, naar ons vermogen wedergekocht; en zoudt gijlieden ook uw broederen verkopen, of zouden zij aan ons verkocht worden? Toen zwegen zij, en vonden geen antwoord.
WLC	וָאֹמְרָ֣ה לָהֶ֗ם אֲנַ֣חְנוּ קָ֠נִינוּ אֶת־אַחֵ֨ינוּ הַיְּהוּדִ֜ים הַנִּמְכָּרִ֤ים לַגֹּויִם֙ כְּדֵ֣י בָ֔נוּ וְגַם־אַתֶּ֛ם תִּמְכְּר֥וּ אֶת־אֲחֵיכֶ֖ם וְנִמְכְּרוּ־לָ֑נוּ וַֽיַּחֲרִ֔ישׁוּ וְלֹ֥א מָצְא֖וּ דָּבָֽר׃ ס
Trans.	wā’ōmərâ lâem ’ăn^aḥənû qānînû ’eṯ-’^aḥênû hayyəhûḏîm hanniməkārîm lagwōyim kəḏê ḇānû wəḡam-’atem timəkərû ’eṯ-’ăḥêḵem wəniməkərû-lānû wayy^aḥărîšû wəlō’ māṣə’û dāḇār:

AC	ח ואמרה להם אנחנו קנינו את אחינו היהודים הנמכרים לגוים כדי בנו וגם אתם תמכרו את אחיכם ונמכרו לנו ויחרישו ולא מצאו דבר {ס}
ASV	And I said unto them, We after our ability have redeemed our brethren the Jews, that were sold unto the nations; and would ye even sell your brethren, and should they be sold unto us? Then held they their peace, and found never a word.
BE	And I said to them, We have given whatever we were able to give, to make our brothers the Jews free, who were servants and prisoners of the nations: and would you now give up your brothers for a price, and are they to become our property? Then they said nothing, answering not a word.
Darby	And I said to them, We, according to our ability, have redeemed our brethren the Jews, who were sold to the nations; and will ye even sell your brethren? or shall they be sold unto us? And they were silent and found no answer.
ELB05	Wir haben unsere Brüder, die Juden, welche den Nationen verkauft waren, soweit es uns möglich war, losgekauft; und ihr wollt gar eure Brüder verkaufen? Und sie sollen sich uns verkaufen? Da schwiegen sie und fanden keine Antwort.
LSG	et je leur dis: Nous avons racheté selon notre pouvoir nos frères les Juifs vendus aux nations; et vous vendriez vous-mêmes vos frères, et c'est à nous qu'ils seraient vendus! Ils se turent, ne trouvant rien à répondre.
Sch	Wir haben nach unserm Vermögen unsere Brüder, die Juden, welche an die Heiden verkauft waren, losgekauft; ihr aber wollt sogar eure Brüder verkaufen, so daß sie sich an uns verkaufen müssen? Da schwiegen sie und fanden keine Antwort.
Web	And I said to them, We after our ability have redeemed our brethren the Jews, who were sold to the heathen; and will ye even sell your brethren? or shall they be sold to us? Then they held their peace, and found nothing to answer.
